Biography
Mr. Tawiah is Client Relations Manager with Afreximbank, with responsibility for developing and managing business relationship with private and public sector institutions, across the Anglophone West Africa region. His career includes senior leadership roles at leading financial institutions including Standard Bank, Société Générale, UT Bank and United Bank for Africa, where he has led business development, client coverage, leasing and asset finance, sectorial banking and portfolio management functions. With over 20 years of leadership experience across Africa’s financial sector, Wisdom has extensive expertise in development finance, corporate and investment banking, trade finance, project and asset-based finance, business development, credit and risk management, and strategic relationship management. Wisdom holds an MSc in International Banking and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and a BSc in Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana. He has undertaken professional training in leadership, relationship management, business development, trade finance, project and asset-based finance, structured trade finance, and credit and risk management.
