Biography

Cllr. Elliott is a seasoned legal practitioner, corporate governance professional, and one of the senior executives of the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI). She currently serves as the Bank's Corporate Secretary and is a member of the Liberian National Bar Association. Cllr. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Management from Cuttington University in Suakoko, Bong County, Liberia. She has further enhanced her professional expertise through specialized training and certification in Transitional Law Practicum on Access to Justice in Liberia and Labor Administration, strengthening her competencies in legal practice, governance, labor relations, and institutional compliance. With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Cllr. Elliott has held several senior legal and leadership positions throughout her distinguished career. Her professional experience includes serving as Inspector General at the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Liberia, In-House Legal Counsel at Golden Veroleum Liberia (GVL), Vice President for Legal Affairs at LBDI, and currently Corporate Secretary of the Bank.
