Biography
Mrs. Jackson is the Chief Executive Officer of the Insurance Company of Africa (ICA), a leading player in Liberia’s insurance sector. She is a seasoned insurance professional with over 15 years of experience working with industry leaders, market players and regulators. She previously served as the Deputy Director of the Insurance Department at the Central Bank of Liberia, where she played a pivotal role in shaping regulatory and supervisory reforms in Liberia's insurance sector. In her bid to drive reforms in the West African region, she has served as Technical Lead for Insurance on the AML/CFT National Risk Assessment for Liberia and as a member of the Expert Committee of the College of Insurance Supervisors in the WAMZ. She has also served on the Board of the ECOWAS Brown Card, the West African Insurance Institute and as an executive member of the Liberia Insurance Association. Currently, she serves as President of the Liberia Insurance Association (LIA) as well as President of the West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA). Mrs. Jackson holds a Master of Arts in Policy Economics from Williams College, Massachusetts, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the African Methodist Episcopal University, and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management from the West African Insurance Institute in The Gambia. Mrs. Jackson is deeply committed to community engagement and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Monrovia College and Industrial Training School.
