Milton A. Weeks

Mr. Weeks is a senior financial and management consultant with over 35 years of experience across banking, private sector development, financial sector policy and corporate governance in Africa. He brings a deep understanding of Liberia’s macroeconomic environment, financial system, and the structural factors shaping private sector growth, enterprise development and investment. A former Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia and former CEO of banks in Liberia, Malawi and Nigeria, Mr. Weeks has extensive experience at the intersection of financial sector development, economic policy and private sector growth. He has also undertaken advisory work on private sector development, business associations, governance, NPL strategy and financial services, and served for seven years as Head of the Secretariat of the Liberia Bankers Association. As Executive Director of Devin Corporation, Mr. Weeks currently serves as a Senior Professional Services Consultant with the firm and has held several corporate leadership positions. His combination of macroeconomic, financial-sector and private-sector experience provides a valuable perspective on the institutional, financial and market constraints underlying Liberia’s banking ecosystem.
