Biography

Judge Jones is a distinguished Liberian legal professional with extensive experience in law, business, education, and judicial service. He currently serves as Judge of the Debt Court for Montserrado County, a position he has held since 2005. Prior to his appointment to the bench, he was Managing Partner of Jones Law Chambers and also served in several legal and management capacities at the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC). He holds an LLB from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, a BSc in Chemistry, and an MA in International Relations from the University of Liberia. Beyond the courtroom, Judge Jones has made significant contributions to legal education and professional development. He serves as a Business Law Instructor and Coordinator at the University of Liberia and has held leadership positions including President of the National Association of Trial Judges of Liberia and President of the Monrovia YMCA. He is also an Acting President of the Christian Lawyers Association of Liberia and a pastor at Total Gospel Community Church.
