Biography
Mr. Mambu is the Chief Business Officer at Access Bank Liberia and a seasoned banking professional with over 17 years of experience in business development, microfinance, MSME banking, and credit risk management. He joined Access Bank in 2009 as a Loan Officer and was promoted within a year to serve as a Senior Credit Consultant with Access Bank Tanzania. Over the years, James has held several leadership positions, including Credit Risk Officer, Branch Manager, Head of Micro & Small Business, and Head of Business. In these roles, he has played a key role in driving business growth, strengthening risk management practices, and supporting the strategic expansion of the bank in Liberia. He holds professional certifications in Financial Management, Credit Risk Management, and Leadership from the Access Campus Learning Centre in Berlin, Germany, as well as certifications in Human Resource Management, Administration, and Marketing from the West African Bankers Association. His extensive experience and leadership expertise continue to contribute to the growth and success of Access Bank Liberia.
