Biography

Retired Chief Justice Yuoh is a distinguished Liberian legal professional and retired Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia, having served as Chief Justice from 2022 to 2025. Before she was appointed Chief Justice, she served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court from 2013 to 2022, where she handled a broad range of constitutional, commercial, contractual, property, taxation, corporate, and other legal matters. His extensive legal and public-service career also includes service as Commissioner of the Law Reform Commission, Corporate Secretary and Assistant Legal Counsel to the Central Bank of Liberia, Assistant Minister for Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Justice, and legal counsel in private practice. With decades of experience spanning judicial leadership, commercial and banking law, legislation, litigation, and legal reform, Cllr. Yuoh brings a wealth of legal expertise and institutional knowledge to discussions on strengthening Liberia’s legal and financial frameworks.
